A UFO sighting has been reported from China. The UFO was seen above both Beijing and Shanghai at the same time. A Chinese civil aviation pilot flying China Southern Airlines flight CZ655 going from Shanghai to Changchun reported seeing what he called a “colossal unidentified glowing ball” around 9 p.m. on August 20. The pilot filed the report online under the nickname “the girl-picking mushrooms 168” via Sina Weibo.
The pilot reported the unidentified flying object being hundreds of times larger then the moon and its diameter seemed to be approx 50 sea miles. He said the UFO was spherical in shape and expanded from small to large. He said the UFO hovered for about 20 minutes over Shanghai before it faded gradually away.
But according to the East China Air Traffic Control Bureau “the girl-picking mushroom 168″ was not the only one to see the UFO. The control department apparently received reports from several other pilots on the same date. Based on the descriptions given by these pilots the UFO posed no danger to flight safety or any other civil aviation at the time because they were far away. There were no flights effected by the UFO over Shanghai reports verify.
An engineer from the National Astronomical Observatories named Ma Jing told the Shanghai Daily that he had taken pictures that showed an object rise in the west that looked like an expanding round white cloud. He said the mysterious object disappeared several minutes later but tied in with the pilot reports. Some experts from the Shanghai UFO Research Center said there is a possibility that the UFO could be fragments of a Russian satellite launched a couple days earlier but had disappeared during takeoff. But no one has yet dismissed the possibility of the unidentified flying object being extraterrestrial.
